Time Flies When You Are Having Fun

Wow! I can't believe how much has happened since November 1st. So I really do not even know where to begin. This is December 2nd! So I will try to fill in the best I can and just show some really awesome pictures!
I know on the 5th I ventured out with the girls to David. We went to fabric shops, and grocery stores. Wanda had to get foam and fabric to make cushions and fabric to make curtains. We were home around 8 p.m.
The 6th we moved into our new apartment! Yeah, no more out in the boonies! We have internet! That was great but exhausting. The Foster's moved us in and then we cleaned the Faust house. We unpacked until after midnight.
The 8th it was back to David to get things for the apt. we needed like towels, sheets, and a blowup mattress for guests. We also got extra plates and such because the apt. only came with 4 of everything! I bought a rice cooker as well.
Service on Saturday was fun and we had an enjoyable Watchtower study as a family. The next day, after the meeting we had dinner and a football game (american football) at our house. The speaker and his wife were from Volcan, they came, also the Conza's and the Sander's.

Starting the week of the 18th we had busy busy times! Our congregation had the privilege of hosting the District Overseer and his wife, as well as the Circuit Overseer and his wife. We had a special meeting Tuesday night and 132 were in attendance. They came from all over the circuit to be at that meeting. Then Wednesday and Thursday were special days for the ministry. What a joy that was! I did get to work with the C.O.'s wife, which was a privilege, but on top of that I had the privilege of working with brothers and sisters from other congregations in the circuit who were here for the special week of activity. Friday the 22nd we had an amazing pioneer meeting followed by the cleaning of the assembly site.

The assembly was so encouraging and we had so many nice experiences and demonstrations. The nice thing also was how the children really got to help out with cleaning and set up. We had one baptized, it was suppose to be two but the sister was extremely ill and was in the hospital. Jason was in parking and I was able to help with a contribution box. Last minute on Saturday morning I was able to fill in for a sister who was sick and be a householder for a demonstration on Sunday mornings part. The District and Circuit overseer gave many good talks and several from our congregation had parts. Very up-building program! We especially enjoyed having a family stay with us over the weekend! They were so sweet and had to travel by bus over 6 hours to get here! What a sacrifice their family made!
