Eventful Day in the Ministry

October 28th
This morning Danielle was able to give her "Spanish" presentation for the first time. So exciting except she was not in my car group so I did not get to hear her. In the afternoon Jason started a bible study with a man from Jamaica who speaks excellent English. His name is George. He has a very sad story. His wife is dead and she dies while she was in the US and he has not been able to get her remains and it has been 4 years, all because of government. He is looking for comfort and Jason and Dylan visited with him on the hope of the resurrection for an hour! That night Alivia stayed over night and we made homemade pizza with the fresh basil we had bought for $1 for a whole sack full.

Service today was good. I went with Langston's and we found a lot of Ngobe. I wish I could speak their language; I would probably have more bible students than I could handle. We went back to town from Palmira Arriba and the road was scary beautiful!  At Sheryl's return visit we saw three lizards each were about 6 inches long! Why don't I have my camera when I need it? In the afternoon I found a return visit that Lawson had given me named Marta. She speaks perfect English. She asked if I could call again Friday as she was really busy today. I drove the Moore's car home from the Sander's, my first driving experience in Panama. I was so nervous. Then that evening I went back picked up Lori and we went to Rosatio's. Oh my heart is so attached to her already! She is so saddened because her life is turned upside down because of her learning the truth about holidays and she is catholic, and the whole Mary thing. She is very emotionally attached but wants to please Jehovah. I hope she will make the right decision.
