Hard Work Pays Off

We are all moved in! It was not easy but we did it! We did not think we had that much to move but it tuns out we have accumulated more than we realized in the last 5 months. Towels, sheets, dishes, silverware, toaster oven, ice cream maker, etc , all these added up and we had to make many trips between the apartment and our new home taking everything we have by foot n our suitcases. We unpacked and then took the empty suitcases back to the apartment and refilled. This took a week to do, but it worked out because Jason was painting. WE ALL took part in the move. The kids and I cleaned the house while Jason painted. I did all the packing and unpacking, and we all brought luggage over piece by piece. The following are pictures of the house before and after. I really wish we had pictures of us moving the luggage... I am sure that was a sight to behold! lol

We started in the master bedroom....

Then we went to the living room and kitchen...

Lots of scraping and cleaning before painting could start...

We collected large piles of paint chips..

We took down the ceiling tiles and cleaned them. Then we painted them.

They were really filthy, but we did not get a before picture.

Danielle's room was next...

It was not as hard as the master bedroom...

The bathroom needed a good cleaning before we could do anything..

We are going to paint it the same color as the floral design on the wall tile...

Dylan's room needed the least amount of work so it will be done at a future time...

So the paint turned out well...

It was really dark going on but dried very nicely...
