Make a Run for the Border...

We have been here almost six months so in order to keep our passports up to date we had to cross the border into Costa Rica and then come back to Panama and our passports are good for another 6 months. Some say you have to stay 24 hours others 72 hours so we were a little nervous. Some say you need $500 cash per person others say just a copy of your bank statement. What would we do? We did not feel comfortable with all that cash so we just took our bank statements and prayed that would be enough.
Many of the brothers and sisters here in the congregation stayed at a Hostel on the border and had really nice success! We decided to stay there also. The owner, Rick, is very hospitable and kind. He really goes out of his way to spoil you and it was all very reasonably priced!
The entry back in to Panama is normally what ones have a problem with because they request a return ticket out of the country, but we had no problem at all. We just showed them our passports and tickets and they let us back in. They did not even ask for our bank statement!
On our way to the border we stopped in David and went to their meeting...
